Working principle of oil-free water-cooled screw air compressor
In the air compressor industry, the oil-free water-lubricated screw air compressor is currently a new type of air compressor equipment. Working principle
Basic principle: A cylindrical screw is combined with two symmetrical planar star wheels to form a meshing pair. Usually, the screw has six screw grooves, and each star wheel tooth will divide the corresponding screw groove into two spaces above and below. Each space realizes the working process of the compressor. Since there are two star wheel teeth, a single screw compressor is equivalent to a six-cylinder double-acting piston compressor. Due to the symmetrical structure of the cylindrical screw and the star wheels, it has balance, so the axial force and radial force can cancel each other out. This is the prerequisite guarantee for the machine to operate normally for a long time.
The advantages and features of oil-free water-cooled screw air compressors
The structure is well-organized and has an ideal force balance.
On each side of the screw of the oil-free air compressor, a symmetrical star wheel structure is configured. This design ensures that the oil-free air compressor not only has no unbalanced inertial force, but also the axial force and radial force applied to the screw cancel each other out, thereby achieving an ideal force balance.
2. High efficiency
The oil-free air compressor theoretically has no residual volume. It has a large single-unit capacity and achieves ideal isothermal compression. Due to the good thermal conductivity of water, when the lubricating water is injected into the compression chamber, the temperature will drop to 45℃, which is close to the suction temperature.
3. Without oil
Replace oil with water to achieve functions such as lubrication, cooling, sealing, and noise reduction. Provide high-quality oil-free air, without pollution. The discharged water does not require special treatment and complies with environmental protection requirements.
4. Low noise and little vibration
The oil-free air compressor features an excellent power balance system, which can effectively suppress vibration sources. It operates stably with no special requirements for the foundation. The star wheel is made of specially customized polymer materials. The working chamber is sprayed with lubricating water and the intermediate transmission gears are used. Therefore, the operating noise is low.
5. Long service life of the main unit
The symmetry of the structure and the possibility of the flow hole arrangement enable the radial and axial forces generated during the compressor's operation to be balanced. Therefore, the rotor bearing load is small, allowing it to operate for 50,000 hours. The star wheel made of resin material can be used for up to 20,000 to 30,000 hours, and the service life of the air compressor can reach as high as 30,000 hours.
